Misdirections:

From Bangkok
Go south on Petchkasem Road (Highway 4). Just after km marker 201 take the right fork of Highway 4 ("the bypass"), marked Pranburi and Prachuab Khiri Khan. After km marker 28.6 turn right at the traffic lights onto road 3218. Zero odometer.
At km 3.1km go straight onto road 3219, at 11.1km turn right (Dole fruit canning factory at the corner), at 16.2km turn left and park on the dam near hare's green Jeep Cherokee.

From Hua Hin
Leave Petchkasem via Hua Hin Soi 70, zero odometer, cross the railway line and follow road 3218 for 11.3km to the bypass of highway 4. Go straight across at the traffic lights, zero odometer again and follow directions above.
